My road to data journalism began when I used my bachelor’s in creative writing to develop educational advertising for small businesses in my hometown. That work taught me how to translate information clearly for the public, a skill that now guides my reporting. As I pursue my Master’s in New Media Journalism, my mission is to apply verified data and accessible storytelling to help audiences understand the information influencing everyday life.
