Hello, I’m Ronald Hernandez Jr., an educational journalist and graduate who is pursuing a Master’s in New Media Journalism. My beat focuses on finding education in everyday subjects and sharing them with the public no matter their age or skill level.
Career History
Since graduating with a degree in creative writing, I have engaged in advertising for small businesses, giving them brief consultations tips on the way. I focused on educational advertising as a way to spread knowledge to our local communities as well as create brand awareness.

Education
I graduated from La Junta High School in 2009. Go Tigers!
After a long battle with alcohol addiction, I sobered up and decided to go to college for game development which did not work out, but I did not give up and switched to creative writing. This turned out to be the best decision of my life.
A Peak At My Hometown
This is a photo of the prairie outside of my hometown of La Junta, Colorado, a small country town with a small population of about 7000 citizens. The Rocky Mountains in the background are approximately 85 to 90 miles away.
